The Pope recently celebrated Holy Thursday mass. Pope Francis has differed from previous popes in many ways. He has chosen simpler living arrangements and eats in the community dining room. Another difference is his choice of location for mass on Maundy Thursday. Pope Francis celebrated it in a juvenile detention center. This is a major change from the celebrations in St. Peter's Basilica. Pope Francis has changed the papacy in just over 2 weeks of being elected pope.

Rebuking Heresy
Last year, Jefferson Bethke posted a video title, "Why I love Jesus, but hate Religion." This video took the internet by storm now having over 24 million views. He challenged the very nature of having a Church. Jefferson stated many key facts about why the Church is wrong. Although he did not have good backing for his ideas. Many Christians were able to make response videos. If you want to see the original or one of the responses here you go.

About Woman Priests
From: The Catechism of the Catholic Church, ed. Geoffrey Chapman, London 1994, pp. 353-354.
§ 1577. "Only a baptized man (vir) validly receives sacred ordination."[66] The Lord Jesus chose men (viri) to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry.[67] The college of bishops, with whom the priests are united in the priesthood, makes the college of the twelve an ever-present and ever-active reality until Christ's return. The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.[68]
Blog Mission Statement
Several questions about the Catholic Church come about from people of all beliefs. Atheists, Non-Catholics, even Catholics struggle to answer them. They include questions on gay marriage, abortion, infallibility, the trinity, and many more. Though the writers of this blog are by no means theologians this blogs will attempt to answer these questions and provide good links to help further answer them.
